The LMR Cobblers Lounge at Sixfields is changing its name to the LMR Legends Lounge.
2022/23 saw record breaking new members into the lounge, and as part of the club’s plans for growth, legends from the past will join Colin and Phil Mold, room hosts, at every EFL Sky Bet League One game for interviews, signing sessions and more.
"This is a really popular area for the club and one which we’ve seen significant growth over the last two seasons, so it is important we continue to develop this," said Caroline Lucy Commercial Director for the Cobblers.
"The change of name allows us to tap into our rich history and welcome some famous names of the past back to Sixfields as guests in the LMR Legends Lounge."
Dan Denton, Director at LMR Building Supplies, added: “We’re delighted to extend our partnership with the club into their League One campaign. Since working with the club, we have built a number of successful relationships with associated customers and suppliers. We look forward to seeing some familiar faces in the lounge next season, both supporters and former players. We’d like to wish Jon and the team all the best for the coming season.
Lucy continued: “As a club we pride ourselves on working with our local business community. This relationship is a true partnership as LMR are local and we use their expertise whilst also working very successfully with them on introducing new key accounts to their portfolio of clients.
"With our promotion to League One and some big opposition coming our way such as Derby County, Bolton, Reading, plus mouth-watering local derbies like Peterborough and Cambridge, coupled with the new EFL TV deal on the way, the combined effect of these factors will see many more pairs of eyes for our partners and advertisers and it is great that a Northamptonshire based company will benefit from that."
